I went to a few Wednesday matches until the relegation season of 1989/90, but it wasnt until the 1990/91 season, when my Dad took me on the journey with our first season tickets in the Fight for Promotion and League Cup Winning Season under Big Ron… what did I witness - WOW 🤩 🏆
But what we witnessed would last a lifetime as we continued to watch SWFC go from
strength to strength, Waddle, Wembley, Europe, top of the premier league… Oh the Halcyon days… the 90s was amazing and it was packed full of a collectors dream from iconic shirts, programmes, to videos, posters and badges everything was treasured including the memories
As the years went by, I kept on going, season ticket after season ticket, through thick and thin I would call it, And I would collect anything & everything, scrapbooks, postcards if it had an owl on it I kept it.. despite the calls to clear out the junk…. it took over bedrooms/houses/sheds and storage units then Covid 19 hit the world and
As the years went by, I kept on going, season ticket after season ticket, through thick and thin I would call it, And I would collect anything & everything, scrapbooks, postcards if it had an owl on it I kept it.. despite the calls to clear out the junk…. it took over bedrooms/houses/sheds and storage units then Covid 19 hit the world and bang… I thought people would like to see what I have accumulated, so I took to social media to raise the spirits of people stuck at home during the pandemic and showcase items we have accumulated over the years WAWAW isn’t just a saying it’s true it takes over and becomes a part of you and now to this day we still go home and away and my family have the bug.. its true the kids are interested and they collect too ❤️🦉
